Withdrawal Addresses tab on the Crypto Addresses page listing saved network addresses with their beneficiary, address type, status, and View, Edit, and Delete actions
Use Crypto Addresses to review all the current destination wallet addresses that can be used to move digital assets off the Paxos platform. For example, when withdrawing a stablecoin to an external wallet, the options are populated from the addresses shown and configured here.

Add Network Address

To add a new destination wallet address, go to Addresses and use ⊕︎ Address to get started. Once added, the address is available as an option when sending a digital asset to an external wallet (i.e., a crypto withdrawal).
Required PermissionsYou need a role with the add or delete crypto addresses permission to perform this action.
  1. Provide a name and select the blockchain network.
  2. Retrieve the external wallet address and paste it in the Network Address field.
Off-platform TransfersNetwork Addresses are used to send crypto off the Paxos platform. Ensure the address is correct before using it. Assets sent to the wrong address may not be recoverable.
  1. Provide beneficiary details for the recipient. The fields shown depend on whether the beneficiary is an Individual or an Institution. You will be asked for:
    • What type of beneficiary will receive the assets? (Individual or Institution) and the beneficiary’s First Name and Last Name, or Name for an Institution (required).
    • Address Type, either Private / Non-Custodial or Exchange Hosted / Custodial (required).
    • Country, selected from a list (required). Enforcement begins November 30, 2026.
    • Address Line 1, Address Line 2, City, State / Province, and Postal / ZIP Code (optional).
See beneficiary details for the full list.
  2. For Stellar, XRP Ledger, and Cosmos addresses, optionally enter a memo or destination tag. See Memos and destination tags.
  3. Save the address.
Add an Address panel with the name, blockchain network, network address, beneficiary details, and address type fields filled in with example values
Existing addresses can be completed by editing. Only the name and beneficiary details of a saved address can be modified — click Edit on the Crypto Addresses screen to add Beneficiary Country and any other beneficiary information to an address saved before this field was added. Other fields can only be changed by deleting the address and re-adding it. Complete addresses saved before this change before enforcement begins on November 30, 2026, otherwise above-threshold withdrawals to them will fail.
If you’re onboarded to Paxos Global (PTE) and the address is a Private / Non-Custodial wallet, you must complete Ownership Verification for that address before it can be used for withdrawals, including test withdrawals. After the address is verified, it can take some time for Paxos to allowlist it in the background.
Optionally, perform a test withdrawal to ensure you can send assets to the destination wallet address. If the address requires Ownership Verification, complete it first.

Memos and destination tags

Some blockchains route incoming transfers to a shared address by a secondary value attached to the transfer. Exchanges and custodians often use this value to credit the correct customer account. If you save a withdrawal address that needs this value, enter it when you add the address so that every withdrawal to that destination includes it. The Add an Address panel shows the field only for the following networks: Keep the following in mind:
  • Limits for Stellar and Cosmos are measured in bytes, so characters outside the basic Latin alphabet can use more than one byte each.
  • Paxos treats the combination of network, address, and memo as one saved destination. If you need to send to the same address with a different memo or destination tag, add it again as a separate address.
  • You cannot edit the memo or destination tag of a saved address. To change it, delete the address and add it again.
  • The memo is shown when you view a saved address. Before you confirm a withdrawal, check that the memo or destination tag shown matches the value the recipient gave you.
  • Ask the recipient for the exact value. A transfer sent to a shared address without the correct memo or destination tag may not be credited to the intended account and may not be recoverable.

Delete Network Address

On the Crypto Addresses screen, use Delete in the Actions column to permanently remove a saved network address. Any future withdrawals to the address will fail unless you add the address again.
